His latest release Toilet- Ek prem katha is based on the rural India issue of not having toilets in the house because of hypocritical beliefs. Akshay Kumar for last few years has been doing issue related films though keeping them in entertainment zone in order to reach maximum number of people. Reportedly Akshay Kumar finished shooting for Padman in about 37 days, which is usually how much Kumar takes, they don’t call him a producer’s darling for nothing.
